Heaton Park Ramblers ramble

Fisherman's RetreatAnybody remember this photo?

After five wonderful years with various members of Heaton Park Ramblers, I have decided its time for me to have a change! I have so enjoyed showing lots of lovely people the beauty that we have around us in the North, just on our doorstep too! I have shared many a special moment and place and I think the photos tell it all! My last fortnightly ramble is on the 22nd Sept and after that I am not sure whether to do a once a month day out ramble or just have a list of people who may want to walk on as an’ as and when’ thing. What do you think? However I would like to do a reunion walk and meal at Park Farm at Christmas so please let me know if you are interested! Hugs to All and hope to see some of you this Sunday along with anyone new who wishes to come too!

    HI jacqueline,

I would like to say a big thank you on behalf of sandra, julie, Gordon and myself as through meeting up on your many interesting and lovely walks we have all become good friends. We are looking forward to joining you on 8th September for the Moel Ffamau walk.

You have put so much effort into your past walks and have encouraged us to venture further afield and to truly appreciate the beautiful counttryside all around us. I personally think it would be a great idea to enjoy a full day’s walk with you on a 3 weekly/monthly basis and look forward to discussing this with you on the 8th.

Meanwhile, it’s good to know that you are so much better after your long period of bad health.

    Hugs to you too.

    Von

What can I say Von, Sandra, Julie and Gordon but that it has been a great pleasure to share time and the countryside with you all! And what a laugh we have had too as well as the weary legs! But watching you have all go from strength to strength has been a privilege for me.
Fortunately my health is vastly improved and I am fortifying myself (not saying what with)ready for the winter!
Be great to see you on 8th Sept and chew over how Heaton Park Ramblers goes forward into the future, yeah!
      Hugs, Jacqueline
